1. The "Speed-Bar"

The speed-bar is the horizontal gray menu under the main-menu at the top of the page. This menu contains shortcuts to the most common product groups.
All of the tea 'types' listed here are for LOOSE teas, because these are the most popular teas among our customers. However, the 'teabags' option on this menu will show ALL bagged teas. Similarly, the 'specialty', 'teaware' and 'accessory' options on this menu will show ALL the products in each of these categories for quick browsing. All of these products are available via the main and left-navigation menus too, but the speed-bar will get you there with fewer clicks!

2. Mouse-overs

In this site, most major links 'light-up' when you hover over them. For example, the options on the left-navigation menu that are active light-up this way. Also, the product price options do this to help identify where you are. (so you don't accidentally select something else)

Ordering

1. Product-detail pages

All the product listing pages (except bagged tea) show thumbnail pictures of the product. If you would like to see more information and a bigger picture, just click the thumbnail. This will bring up the 'Detail' page for that item. You can order it from this page too, or return to the previous page.

2. Click to Order

To add an item to your cart, all you need do is click on the particular 'size' you want (they hilight when you mouse-over them). To order another, just click again. No bells and whistles go off during an 'add', so check that your cart quantity matches what you want.

3. Update the Shopping-Cart

If you add items to your shopping cart and then hit the 'back' button on your browser (instead of using the sites menus), you are actually going back in time, and (the display of) your shopping cart will too! Dont fret - the information is still there. Just click your browsers 'refresh' button, or click any navigation menu link, and your cart will redisplay accurately.

4. Change Shopping-Cart Quantities

hit 'tab' after changing any quantity to force the Cart to update itself. If it still doesnt seem right, just click your browsers 'refresh' button.

Checkout
